Even there I don't think it works anymore since Apple dropped 32bit support. So my physical disc can't be read and the game won't see my ISO rip of that disc. Sims 2 has been de-listed from Origin since 2015, and the only legal way to purchase it is through the Mac app store. To my horror, when I tried to insert the physical disc (thankfully I have a Blu-Ray Drive on this computer), it couldn't be read it seems that it's too scratched over time. The installation went great, even accepting the code I still had on my physical box! However, when I went to play it (keeping the virtual disc in the virtual D: drive), it gave me this error: THE SIMS 2 v1.0 ENGLISH NO CENSOR PATCH (10.3KB) THE SIMS 2 v1.0 ENGLISH MINI BACKUP IMAGE (155KB) THE SIMS 2 v1.0 ENGLISH DVD RELEASE FIXED EXE (12.7MB)-This one definitely works, build mode now works, and so does saving. Today, I tried to re-install The Sims 2 Special DVD Edition on my new computer using these ISOs. A couple years ago, when I realized that my future computers might not have disc drives (and The Sims 1 and 2 aren't sold digitally), I ripped all these to ISO files so I could continue to play them. ![]() Read below for more information Complete list of changes in v1.0.0.999: - This patch addresses some issues with uploading lots and exporting lots.
